The guide will drive you to all well-known sights ;Cathedral of Zagreb, church of St. Mark , Stone gate… and some more, for example well-known commentary Mirogoj which is one of the most beautiful park cemeteries in Europe that is also one of the biggest Croatians sculpture galleries in the open since it contains works of the best Croatian sculptors. Today, the pedestrian-only Old Town – packed with aristocratic palazzi and elegant Baroque churches, contained within sturdy medieval fortifications – draws hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. Today’s tour starts with your knowledgeable tour leader driving to the bridge of Dubrovnik to enjoy the stunning main harbor view, followed by a visit to the hill of Srdj, overlooking the City of Dubrovnik. Afterward, meet with your local guide for a tour of the Old Town. Your guide will lead you on a walk along the cobblestone streets of Dubrovnik Old Town, from Pile Gate to the main street, Stradun (Placa), providing you with intriguing facts about the historic palaces, churches, and beautiful hidden corners along the way. You will be amazed by its unique architectural structures such as the Cathedral of St. Blaise and the Church of St. Francis. Learn the story behind the statue of Orlando, the keeper of the flag of Liberty, and other interesting sights on your walk through the City.. We will then drop off at hotel after the tour. Today, we shall leave “the Adriatic pearl” for a few hours and cross the border to explore the jewels of Montenegro, a small but beautiful country, whose name refers to the dark color of its peaks, covered with dense forests. We shall stroll through the Dubrovacka and Konavle valleys and admire picturesque landscapes before skirting the beautiful bay of Kotor, one of Montenegro’s best-kept secrets, also known as “the southernmost fjord in Europe” for its extraordinary beauty. Visit one of the neighboring villages, Perast, famous for being a traditional fishing town and located on the foothills of Mount St. Elias. In the immediate vicinity are the islands of San Jorge and Our Lady of the Rock. If you wish to explore the latter, you will have the option of hiring a boat trip. The tour continues through the historic town of Kotor, which takes its name from the bay and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Listen carefully to your guide as he tells you fascinating facts whilst you observe the most outstanding monuments and historic walls, a true symbol of the regions identity. On your way to the coastal town of Budva, where you will have free time to explore its landscapes, you will have the option of photographing the luxurious peninsula of Sveti Stefan. The day ends with a relaxing ferry crossing across the bay of Kotor that will take you back to Dubrovnik.
