Welcome to The Blue City which really is blue. Inside is a tangle of winding, glittering, medieval streets with shops and bazaars selling everything from trumpets and temple decorations to snuff and saris. The rest of the day is at leisure and you can you’re your way out to experience the culture, cuisine and colours of this city. Modern Jodhpur stretches well beyond the city walls, but it’s the immediacy and buzz of the old Blue City and the larger-than-life fort that will capture your imaginations. Later this evening, we will drive you to Central Jodhpur, where you may spend the evening at the Clock tower the most popular bazaar of Jodhpur. This crowded but cultural part is also Jodhpur’s main tourist area. You may also choose to move to the areas of the old city further west, such as Navchokiya, which are just as atmospheric, with far less hustling. Refresh overnight at your Jodhpur hotel.

This morning after an early breakfast, we will proceed for the amazing Osian experience, surrounded by golden sand dunes and hamlets, Osian, located 65 km north of Jodhpur, is famous for its Hindu and Jain temples and is known as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan due to the erotic sculptures on the temples. We will visit some temples from the 8th and the 11th century such as the popular Sachia Mata Temple and the Jain temple. If to your liking, we can also visit one of the ancient Bishnoi villages and see the history unfold in front of us. Afterwards we will depart back for Jodhpur and if time permits will visit the Balsamand Lake and gardens which is another wonderful spot to enjoy with family and friends in Jodhpur. Refresh overnight at your resort in Jodhpur.

Today, after a sumptuous breakfast, we will depart for a day’s sightseeing excursion of Jodhpur and around. We will visit the Mehrangarh Fort on a steep hill. The fort is among some of the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes. Later, we will move on to visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble and the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace. The Umaid Bhawan Palace is housed neatly beside the royal blue city of Jodhpur. It is a n architectural marvel, truly an edifice and is almost 75 years old. The other name of the Umaid Bhawan Palace is the Chittar Palace, due to the fact that stones from the nearby Chittar Hill were used for its construction and were responsible for the golden yellow color of the edifice. We will then return to the resort where you can rest and refresh.

All good things have to come to an end as we will then proceed well in time to the airport so that you can board your return flight back to your home destination.
