ITINERARY


As you arrive in Madurai, we will receive and welcome you and drive you to your hotel. Check in and refresh. Chennai may be the capital of Tamil Nadu, but Madurai claims its soul. Madurai is Tamil-born and Tamil-rooted, one of the oldest cities in India, a metropolis that traded with ancient Rome and was a great capital long before Chennai was even dreamed of. Spend the evening at leisure in Madurai.

After a lovely breakfast, we will head towards the Meenakshi Temple having two complexes, Meenakshi Temple and the Sundareswarar Temple. The 2000 years old temple is specially known for its Ayiramkaal Mandapam; this thousand-pillared hall is sculpted with life size and ornamented figures. The pillars look amazing as you view them from which ever corner of the hall. The corridors are decorated with musical stone pillars, producing different musical notes when tapped. Spend the evening in Madurai

Post breakfast, we will C/O and drive for Rameshwaram and visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple which is dedicated to Lord Rama. This is one of the seven places in India where pilgrims pray for salvation. Experience the unique 22 holy springs and the longest corridor in India. Our next visit is to the five faced Hanuman Temple. The temple also has a floating stone outside the temple exhibiting the famous stories from the Great Indian spic, Ramayana. Time permitting, spend some time at the beautiful Dhanushkodi beach. Refresh overnight at your hotel in Rameshwaram.

After a lovely breakfast, we will depart for the gorgeous shores of Kanyakumari. We will visit Swami Vivekananda Memorial Rock The memorial stands on one of two rocks located about five hundred meters east off mainland of India’s southernmost tip. We will also visit the extraordinary Bhagwati Amman temple. Kanyakumari got its name from the Kumari Amman temple situated at the shore on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea.  Refresh overnight at your hotel in Kanyakumari.

Today, we will C/O as our representative will be waiting at the for you with your private car to assist you well in time to drive you to back to the Madurai airport for you to board your return flight.
