ITINERARY


At the Mauritius airport, TCI representative will pick you up and drive you to directly to your resort where you can C/I and refresh in your comfortable room.
Welcome to Mauritius a country that will enchant you, will uplift your soul and immediately make you feel that you belong to the chosen few. The contrast of a multitude of colors and tastes, the island, set in its turquoise sea, is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Mauritius, a melting pot where past and present are smoothly blended together, offers an essential beauty that will compel to return to its shores time and time again. Thoroughly enjoy your first day and evening at leisure at the resort.

Today, we will drive you to the Vanille Reserve des Mascareignes nature park, located in the South of Mauritius. This part of the island has more traditions and even the unspoilt scenery. After your visit at the Park drive to Rochester Falls, waterfall situated in the Savanne district of Mauritius. Highly popular for its rectangular flank rocks, the fall is one of the most popular tourist attractions and the widest waterfall in Mauritius. The waterfall is located on the Savanne River at an elevation of 152 meters above sea level. We then drive to Souillac Village and proceed to Gris Gris, listed in almost any guide book found on the market, and as such, the beach is naturally very popular with tourists. You will not find a lot of visitors down at the actual beach, probably due to the 70 or so steps it takes to get down to it. Enjoy your day on the island and its beaches before we drive you back to your resort.

Today after a wonderful breakfast, we will drive you in a chauffeur-driven car to Casela Bird and Nature Park. The Casela Nature Park, a beautiful garden and bird sanctuary of some 25 acres, is situated in the west part of the island Mauritius near the small village Flic en Flac. Almost 2500 birds of 140 different species are housed in some 90 aviaries. Guest can walk around the Nature Park to see the different species of birds. After seeing the birds it’s time now to embark your Safari Vehicles for a Safari in Yemen, domain found between the mountain of Tamarin and the Trois Mamelles, is home to two of the longest rivers of the island: Rempart and Tamarin. The actual dimension of the domain is of 4500 hectares. Guests may appreciate, during the visit, the beautiful sight of Java deer roaming freely the grassy savannah. But wild boars, hares, monkeys, mongoose and the famous Mauritian fruit bat can also be seen during the Tour. We will then drive you back to your hotel.

Today, pump in a little adventure which is totally safe in this part of the world, head to your beachfront and enjoy the water sports in Mauritius which are just too good. Even if you aren’t a water baby, Mauritius will make you fall in love with at least the basic water sports that need no swimming training. This will be a day at leisure in the resort or you may even wish to visit nearby beaches on your own. TCI experts will assist in providing various options for you to plan this day, be it an optional or additional tour or any recommended activities for the day. Regardless, whatever you choose to do today, you are bound to have a wonderful day in the beautiful island country of Mauritius.

After a sumptuous breakfast, today’s full day tour will be to the south of the Isand which is the wildest and has the most beautiful landscapes of the island, sandy beaches bordered by cliffs carved by waves, rocky shores and sugar cane fields. We will cover a trip to Curepipe which is the second biggest town in Mauritius. From colonial relics to beautiful gardens, Curepipe has a lot to offer visitors. followed by the Grand Bassin which is a crater lake situated in a secluded mountain area in the district of Savanne, deep in the heart of Mauritius. It is about 1800 feet above sea level. We will then move on to the Plaine Champagne and the Seven Coloured Earths of Chamarel. The seven colored earth is a natural phenomenon and a prominent tourist attraction. The colors have evolved here in a small area of sand dunes comprising sand of seven distinct colors. Later in the evening, we will return to the resort.

Today post breakfast, if your flight time allows, then you can enjoy the complimentary water sports at the beach of your resort or just soak in the sun or refresh your mind and senses. If you wish to do additional activities today, TCI experts will assist in providing various options for you to plan this day be it an optional or additional tour or any recommended activities for the day. Whatever you plan to do today, you are bound to have a memorable day at Mauritius. Later, as we know that all great journeys have to come to an end, we drive you back to the airport.
