ITINERARY


At Mahe, our representative will be waiting for you to pick you up at the requested time and drive straight to Mahe Jetty. From here, enjoy a scenic sea ride all the way to Silhoutte. Upon arrival at the Silhoutte Pier, you will be received and then can C/I at your resort. Welcome to Silhoutte, an island of legends, mystique and tropical beauty. Surrounded by coral barrier reefs. Spend your evening in paradise at your resort.

Today, pump in a little adventure which is totally safe in this part of the world, head to your beachfront and enjoy the water sports in Seychelles which are just too good. Even if you aren’t a water baby, Seychelles will make you fall in love with at least the basic water sports that may need no swimming training. This will be a day at leisure in the resort or you may even wish to visit nearby beaches on your own. TCI experts will assist in providing various options for you to plan this day, be it an optional or additional tour or any recommended activities for the day. Regardless, whatever you choose to do today, you are bound to have a wonderful day in the beautiful island country of Seychelles.

Today, after a sumptuous breakfast, we will depart for a spectacular excursion to the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve which is well renowned as classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Relax on one of the world’s most picturesque beaches, Anse Lazio. This extraordinary primeval forest, known as the Garden of Eden, is the unique habitat in the universe where the Coco-de-Mer palm grows in its natural state. The Vallee-de-Mai is also home to one of the world’s rarest birds, the Black Parrot. The afternoon is at leisure at Anse Lazio, voted amongst the Top 10 Beaches in the world. Later, we will get you back to your accommodation.

Today after breakfast, we recommend that you may wish to discover the flora and fauna of Silhouette Island on your own. The trail winds through a mixed natural ecosystem and botanical garden. It’s a work-in-progress. Invasive exotic plants like Cinnamon are regularly removed so that native plants can re-colonize the area. All labelled plant specimens are either occurring naturally both in Seychelles and in other parts of the world or found only in Seychelles. Labels indicate their Creole and scientific names. Endemics are indicated by a Seychelles flag. The forest restoration is expected to benefit native fauna including land birds, reptiles, invertebrates, and the Critically Endangered Seychelles Sheath-tailed Bat. The trail allows visitors to view a wide variety of native plants within the vicinity of La Passe.

Today post breakfast, day is at leisure and you can may further enjoy the complimentary water sports at the beach of your resort*. If you wish to do additional activities today, we suggest joining the boat tour where you will discover the true beauty of Silhouette island. On this trip, you will have the chance to not only see a spectacular sunset, but also the western part of the island with its one km long white sandy beach and its early plantation buildings designed to store the coconut harvest. When the sea is quiet, flying fish will accompany the ship. Return to the island to enjoy some great meals.

As we know that all great journeys have to come to an end but not before you grab a great breakfast and then we will take you via a scenic boat ride back to Mahe and further drive you back to the airport.

TERMS

  • For Anse Lazio tour if included in your package, Beach wear and light casual clothing such as T-shirts, shorts and comfortable walking shoes or trainers are highly recommended. Please note that lunch is not included. Please note that certain tours are subject to a minimum number of occupants in order for them to run  and in case, the supplier does not get the minimum number of occupants required to run the tour, the tour may be cancelled or an alternate date may be offered. In case, the tour is cancelled, appropriate refund will be provided to the clients.
  • *Beach Water sports or other activities at the resort are subject to resort or hotel rules and while many indoor/outdoor activities and some water sports are complimentary for in house guests scheduled or unscheduled, others may be chargeable. Any activities or sports if chargeable by the resort are not inclusive in the package.

  • Please note that the sharing boat transfers to Silhoutte Island and from Silhoutte island are at scheduled hours and clients will have to make their own arrangements in case the miss the scheduled transfers at their own expense. However TCI will assist in designing your package and communicating with the suppliers further to ensure that you have sufficient and convenient time on hand to join your transfers.
  • Guests are required to reach the jetty 30 minutes prior to the departure time of the boat to complete the check-in formalities. The boat schedule is further subject to change without prior notice.
  • A no charge Seychelles Visa or Entry Stamp on arrival is to be obtained directly by the clients on arrival at the Seychelles airport. This visa or entry stamp if charged for any reasons or developments is not part of the package. TCI will assist the clients in preparing the right documentation needed beforehand by providing updated information by dates of travel.
  • *The Island Jungle Trail Excursion is on your own and may be feasible with select resort options only. No other alterative tour shall be offered with choice of other resorts.
