ITINERARY


At the Mauritius airport, TCI representative will pick you up and drive you to directly to your resort where you can C/I and refresh in your comfortable room.
Welcome to Mauritius a country that will enchant you, will uplift your soul and immediately make you feel that you belong to the chosen few. TCI makes sure that all our guests get personal attention and the promise of a unique holiday is no exception on your first day. The contrast of a multitude of colors and tastes, the island, set in its turquoise sea, is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Mauritius, a melting pot where past and present are smoothly blended together, offers an essential beauty that will compel to return to its shores time and time again. Thoroughly enjoy your first day and evening at leisure at the resort.

Post breakfast, depart from hotel in a chauffeur-driven car, and drive to Grand Bay Sunset Boulevard Jetty, where you will embark your Catamaran on shared basis. The Catamaran sets sail to the northern Islands of Coin de Mire, ile Plate and ilot Gabriel while you will indulge in the beauty of the ocean and the panoramic scenery of the islands. The Catamaran will anchor at Flat Island where all the guests can swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters whilst the crew prepares a delicious barbeque on board. In the early afternoon we cruise back to Grand Baie after a great day. Enjoy a lovely dinner at the resort.

Today after a wonderful breakfast, we will drive you in a chauffeur-driven car to Casela Bird and Nature Park. The Casela Nature Park, a beautiful garden and bird sanctuary of some 25 acres, is situated in the west part of the island Mauritius near the small village Flic en Flac. Almost 2500 birds of 140 different species are housed in some 90 aviaries. Guest can walk around the Nature Park to see the different species of birds. After seeing the birds it’s time now to embark your Safari Vehicles for a Safari in Yemen, domain found between the mountain of Tamarin and the Trois Mamelles, is home to two of the longest rivers of the island: Rempart and Tamarin. The actual dimension of the domain is of 4500 hectares. Guests may appreciate, during the visit, the beautiful sight of Java deer roaming freely the grassy savannah. But wild boars, hares, monkeys, mongoose and the famous Mauritian fruit bat can also be seen during the Tour. We will then drive you back to your hotel.

This morning after breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Port Louis towards the north. We will first visit the Pamplemousses Garden where you can enjoy a Nature walk with a guided visit. See giant Tortoise and various fascination flowers and plants. Pamplemousses garden is followed by a short visit at the Saint Francois d’Assise Church. Later arrive at the Sugar World, a sugar cane factory transformed into a modern Museum. Enjoy free rum and sugar tasting, then head to Port-Louis, the capital city and thriving commercial centre where you can see the booming side of the island.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

After a sumptuous breakfast, today’s full day tour will be to the south of the Isand which is the wildest and has the most beautiful landscapes of the island, sandy beaches bordered by cliffs carved by waves, rocky shores and sugar cane fields. We will cover a trip to Curepipe which is the second biggest town in Mauritius. From colonial relics to beautiful gardens, Curepipe has a lot to offer visitors. followed by the Grand Bassin which is a crater lake situated in a secluded mountain area in the district of Savanne, deep in the heart of Mauritius. It is about 1800 feet above sea level. We will then move on to the Plaine Champagne and the Seven Coloured Earths of Chamarel. The seven colored earth is a natural phenomenon and a prominent tourist attraction. The colors have evolved here in a small area of sand dunes comprising sand of seven distinct colors. Later in the evening, we will return to the resort.

Today post breakfast, if your flight time allows, then you can enjoy the complimentary water sports at the beach of your resort or just soak in the sun or refresh your mind and senses. If you wish to do additional activities today, TCI experts will assist in providing various options for you to plan this day be it an optional or additional tour or any recommended activities for the day. Whatever you plan to do today, you are bound to have a memorable day at Mauritius. Later, as we know that all great journeys have to come to an end, we drive you back to the airport.
