Today, we shall experience the best of both worlds when we take you for the ‘Reinvented Classic Trolley’ and a leisurely cruise trip on a lake boat. We will first enjoy the classic city tour on board the ‘Reinvented Classic Trolley’, following whic at the lake piers- you will board a modern lake cruise ship for an unaccompanied 1.5 hours cruise on Lake Zurich. Relax on board while passing pretty lakeside villages, picturesque villages snuggling at the foot of vineyard-clad hills, numerous swimming areas and stately villas. Enjoy the fresh lake air and the gorgeous views of the city in one direction and the snow-covered Glarner mountains in the other. The rest of the day will be yours at leisure.

Today after breakfast, we will depart for the Getaway to the Rhine Falls where you will see Europe’s largest waterfall with an impressive width of 150 meters. Witness the falls from the north bank of the river Rhine where you can admire the turreted castle called Schloss Laufen on a cliff directly above the falls. We will also take you to Northern Switzerland where you will drive through Schaffhausen with its famous Munot Fortress, dating from the 16th century. Experience the cog-wheel to Zuerichberg and discover the castle-like National Museum, the shopping and business centre on Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai with its medieval Old Town, the largest church clock-face of Europe on St. Peter, the patriarchal Guild Houses, the Opera house and the lake for a picture stop. Enjoy travelling uphill on the cog-wheel railway into the Zurichberg district with its noble Grand Hotel Dolder and many superb mansions of glorious past times. You will see the University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Its most famous student and professor was Albert Einstein and finally there will be a stop in the Old Town at Fraumunster Church, where you will admire the famous Chagall-Windows.
