ITINERARY


At Ahmedabad, TCI representative will pick you up and drive you directly to your hotel in Gandhidham. C/I & refresh and then the rest of the evening will by yours at leisure. You may wish to take a walk outside to experience the local culture and have a fun evening shopping with some local souvenirs. Afterwards, you can rest overnight at the Gandhidham hotel.

Today after an early breakfast we will depart for Kala Dungar. The top of the Black Hills is the highest point in Kutch, at 462 m. From here, the entire northern horizon vanishes into the Great Rann, the desert and sky often becoming indistinguishable. It is one of the few non-coastal locations where you feel like you are at the edge of the earth. Treat yourself to sweets at Khavda. Then, we will depart for the White Rann, C/I to your tents and relish the authentic experience. Enjoy the activities, the culture and the vast white desert in front of you. Experience the glorious sunset at White raan and spend the evening at the desert. Here you can also indulge in optional activities such as an ATV ride or a camel safari or a jeef safari.

This morning, wake up to the wonderful sunrise at the White Rann. After breakfast, C/O from the tents and we will depart for Bhuj. C/I at your hotel and then we will enjoy the town of Bhuj. Visit the Hamirsar lake the relish the beauty. Close to Harmirsar Lake, the 18th-century Aina Mahal palace is elaborately decorated with chandeliers, mirrors and semi-precious stones. Nearby, the Italian Gothic–style Prag Mahal palace has a bell tower that overlooks the city, and a courtyard containing a Hindu temple. Visit the Hiralaxmi craft park in Bhujodi, which has a vision to preserve, restore and promote the arts of Kutch and making them accessible to masses. Also visit the magnificent Swami Narayan temple. Refresh overnight at your Bhuj hotel.

Today, start your day early morning after breakfast as we will proceed for a full day trip further to the western coast. Reach the Narayan Sarovar which is one the five sacred lakes mentioned in Hindu Mythology. Narayan Sarovar is adjacent to Kori creek which is a marsh land formed due to withering sea. We will then visit Koteshwar, known for ancient Shiva temple. Koteshwar temple overlooks the Kori creek, which is practically a shallow sea due to Tidal difference. Next will be the Mata Na Madh, highly revered temple of Maa Ashapura. Also experience Lakhpat which is now an abandoned village on the edge of Great Rann and quite off the tourist trail. Shabby ramparts and ruins inside the fort glints the strong vibrations from the glorious past of Lakhpat. After an eventful day, we will be back in Bhuj to refresh overnight.

Guest should understand and acknowledge the physical and mental rigors and risks associated with the activities. These adventure sports are inherently dangerous and represent an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental conditions. Activities involve risks and dangers which may include, without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, sickness and disease, permanent disability, paralysis and loss of life loss of or damage to equipment/property; accidents. The adventure sports operators may ask the guests to sign an indemnity in favor of the operator for doing such activities. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions (including negligence) of those operators. We in no way could be made responsible for any injuries or accidents to anybody doing these activities. The Guest is required to understand the associated risks and competencies of the operators before undertaking these activities.
