ITINERARY


TCI representative will receive you from Delhi and drive you directly to Shimla overnight. Upon arrival, C/I at your resort and relish Shimla, buzzing with a happy flow of people and full of echoes of its past role as the summer capital of British India.

TCI representative will receive you from Delhi and drive you directly to Shimla through a scenic hill journey for half of the segment. Upon arrival, C/I at your resort and relish Shimla, buzzing with a happy flow of people and full of echoes of its past role as the summer capital of British India.
After refreshing at your resort, we will take you to some of the best places to see in Shimla such as the Jakhu temple where you will be thrilled to witness tons of monkeys happy to get away just with some peanuts. You may also opt to have a short nature walk along some of the serene tracks that this place offers. We will also visit the Sankot Mochan temple and the spectacular Indian Institute of Advanced studies which is now housed inside the Viceregal Lodge. Then head next to the Himachal state museum and witness what this well organized place has to offer for history buffs. Return back to the hotel and then in the evening, visit once more the Ridge where you can enjoy the gondola ride and have great pictures on the ridge or simply sit back and enjoy the beauty of the Christ Church. Refresh overnight at the Shimla hotel.

This morning after breakfast, we will drive to Kufri with a scenic forest alongside and a steep drive. We will also be visiting the Helipad at Charabada where you can enjoy some panoramic views of the valley on all sides and get yourself dressed in traditional Himachali costumes to get a feel of the place. Kufri has the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh. You may experience adrenaline rush by taking fast cuts and turns in the Go-Karting circuit in Kufri. The place is also a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the outskirts of the town. The Park is home to over 180 varieties of fauna. Refresh overnight at your Shimla resort and enjoy the wilderness as well as the high mountains and the serene natural surroundings that this place offers. Later in the late evening, we will drive overnight to Manali and C/I at your resort the next morning.

This morning, after refreshing at your resort, relish the best of Manali as we will take you to the Vashishta Kund, the holy Hidimba Temple and also to the Manu Temple. You may also find some space and go around the town and visit places offering local shopping and souvenirs. Time permitting, we can drive you to the Van Vihar national park and to the Jogini waterfall, which requires a bit of a trekking and will be depending upon your choice. We will then return to the resort and you will be at leisure to enjoy the spectacular views from your place.

After relishing a delightful breakfast, we drive up the altitude so you can soak yourself into the snow capped mountains as we take you to the Rohtang Pass, a place for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The snow-covered mountains provide the perfect opportunity to go skiing and snow scooter riding. Take your family to this wonderful place and enjoy some quality time together. Solang Valley is a beautiful place offering breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, peaks and glaciers. From skiing to zorbing, parachuting and paragliding, the adventure activities available here are many and you can indulge in any at your own expense before we drive you back to your resort.

Today after breakfast, as we know all great journeys have to come to an end but not before you grab a lovely breakfast at your resort and then we will drive you back to Delhi.

TERMS

  • This package includes an entry permit to Rohtang pass but does not include any other government related fees or any additional charges that may be added by the government or local authorities after confirmation of this package and they will have to be borne directly by the clients on the spot.
  • Please note that Rohtang pass remains closed on Tuesdays and a visit to the Rohtang pass is completely dependent on weather conditions.

  • For the mall road visit and excursion such as the Gondola ride, guests will be dropped off to the nearest vehicle access point as most of the mall road is in accessible for vehicles. Guests may be dropped off at the Lakkar Bazaaar or at the Lift if they intend to do so. Further expenses to reach the mall road if any need to be borne by the clients themselves.
  • Optional trips wherever mentioned in the itinerary of inclusions are not a part of this package however the client can choose to include them in the itinerary and TCI will adjust the itinerary accordingly if time permits on that particular day. Please confirm these with TCI before you confirm your package or during your journey. These optional activities or excursions may attract additional charges. Some optional tours include trekking and hence only recommended for people who consider themselves fit enough to trek or walk or climb longer than normal distances. Such tours may even need addition of a day or so in order to provide a comfortable overall itinerary which will be advised if needed by our experts.
  • This package does not include any entrance charges or tickets or admissions to any sports or leisure activities or outdoor activities in Rohtang, Solang, Gulaba or/and Naggar or any other places of visit. These will have to borne directly by the clients on the spot.
  • Any entrance tickets or passes if included in your package and mentioned to be included specifically are all subject to availability at the time of confirmation when the actual bookings take place and if unavailable or cancelled due to any reasons, an appropriate refund will be provided to the clients equal to the cost of such services. Please also not that this package does not include the entrance tickets to any areas of interest mentioned in the inclusions.
  • *This package does not include any entry permit charges or any government related fees to any areas of interest and these will have to be borne directly by the clients on the spot.
  • *This package does not include any gondola ride charges, museum entrance fee, horse ride or joy ride charges or ropeway charges or any entrance fees to any places of interest such as landmarks, memorials, museums and other places if mentioned in the inclusions. Such entrances will have to be purchased on the spot by the clients however TCI can assist in pre booking wherever applicable or in pre arranging as much as possible or assist in guiding the clients to be prepared on the spots. Any such entrances if purchased by TCI on client’s requests will be chargeable as per applicable rates and cost incurred.
