At Chandigarh Airport or station,  a TCI representative will receive you and drive you directly to Shimla through a scenic hill journey. Upon arrival, C/I at your resort and relish Shimla, buzzing with a happy flow of people and full of echoes of its past role as the summer capital of British India. Traffic is banned from the central part of town, so walking anywhere is pleasant – even when huffing and puffing uphill. In the evening if time permits, we will drive you to the nearest allowable access point for vehicles to the mall road, from where you may reach the mall on your own and enjoy and experience the Ridge, The Lakkar bazaar, The Lower Bazaar, The Christ Church or simply enjoy a stroll on the ridge. Refresh overnight at the hotel after enjoying the evening in this beautiful hill station.

This morning after breakfast, we will drive to Kufri with a scenic forest alongside and a steep drive.. Kufri has the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh. You may experience adrenaline rush by taking fast cuts and turns in the Go-Karting circuit in Kufri. The place is also a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the outskirts of the town. The Park is home to over 180 varieties of fauna.
Next we will take you to some of the best places to see in Shimla such as the Jakhu temple where you will be thrilled to witness tons of monkeys happy to get away just with some peanuts. Today, we will visit the Sankot Mochan temple and the spectacular Indian Institute of Advanced studies which is now housed inside the Viceregal Lodge. Return back to the hotel and then in the evening, visit once more the Ridge where you can enjoy the gondola ride and have great pictures on the ridge or simply sit back and enjoy the beauty of the Christ Church. Today post an early breakfast we will C/O and drive towards Chandigarh. Our first visit will be the amazing Pinjore gardens. Next, we will take you to enjoy the day exploring the marvelous Rock Garden or rose garden and then enjoy optional boating at the Sukhna lake. The Rock Garden has been designed as an open-air exhibition hall using urban and industrial wastes and is a colorful mosaic of art pieces and sculptures made from industrial and home waste. The Rose Garden is spread over a massive area of 30 acres packed with an exquisite variety of flowers, the largest garden of its kind in Asia. The park exhibits some of the rarest and exquisite varieties of roses and is said to be home to about 825 varieties of flowers. The other major attraction of the garden is more than 32,500 varieties of trees and medicinal plants. Later visit the Sukhna Lake, a large and beautiful manmade lake, Spending the evening on the lake side is a mesmerizing experience. The area around the lake is eye-soothing. In the evening, you can opt to visit either the indoors Elante Mall or the open air market of Sector 17 and watch the fountain show there. Refresh overnight at the Chandigarh hotel.

Today morning post early breakfast, we will depart for Amritsar where you can C/I at the hotel and soon after, we will take you to the prestigious Golden temple, where you can also experience the Akal Takht. The Golden Temple is a place of great beauty and sublime peacefulness while The Akal Takht meaning throne of the timeless one is one of five takhts of the Sikh religion. Then we will proceed to Wagah border Evening is at leisure and we suggest enjoying the local food in Amritsar.
Later, we depart for Wagah Border to see the exclusive ceremony. The Wagah border closing ‘lowering of the flags’ ceremony, or The Beating Retreat ceremony, is a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959. We drive back to Amritsar where you can spend the evening indulging in local souvenirs and street culture of Punjab.

Today, start your day early morning by visiting the Jallianwala Bagh, a public garden now, and houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951 to commemorate the massacre by British occupying forces. Next we will vist the summer Palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is cited in the centre of an amazing garden known as Ram Bagh. There is a museum here created by the Maharaja’s name that holds beautiful, magnificent, historical oil paintings, coins, miniatures and instruments depicting Sikh age in the country. The palace is today a heritage palace of Amritsar. We then proceed to Durgiana temple and you can later enjoy some time at the Hall bazaar. In the evening, we can revisit the Golden temple to get those peaceful moments and the beautiful site of the Golden temple in itself is something that can always be revisited. Spend some in the local markets of Amritsar enjoying the local snacks and fabulous cuisine. Later as we know all great journeys have to come to an end as we will drive you back to the airport.
