ITINERARY
On your arrival at the London Airport, TCI representative will be waiting for you who will then drive you to your hotel. On arrival, C/I and refresh at the hotel. Welcome to London, one of the world’s most visited cities. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure in London and refresh overnight at your hotel in London.
This morning after a sumptuous breakfast, we will make a panoramic introduction to London by coach, with a drive around West London, its palaces, parks, entertainment and commercial districts, the theatre and restaurant district, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, museums and galleries. Photo stops at the houses of parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Royal Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial, Districts of Westminster, Kensington, Mayfair and Belgravia. Then we will move on to the spectacular Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the guards ceremony*.The rest of the day will be yours at leisure in London.
This morning after breakfast, the first early half of the day is at leisure. Then in the afternoon, we will see and visit London’s best as we first take you on a guided tour of St Paul’s Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece with its magnificent dome. The Cathedral was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London in 1666. In recent years it has seen the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, to Lady Diana Spencer and, more recently, the thanksgiving services for both the Diamond Jubilee and 80th Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. Climb 259 steps up the dome and you will find The Whispering Gallery, which runs around the interior of the Dome. It gets its name from a charming quirk in its construction, which makes a whisper against its walls audible on the opposite side. Founded by William the Conqueror in 1066-7 and enlarged by successive sovereigns, the Tower of London is one of the world’s most famous and spectacular fortresses. Over the past 1000 years it has been a Royal Palace, an armory and a place of imprisonment and execution. The Beefeaters who guard the Tower will regale you with stories of its past. We will visit the Crown Jewels, including the magnificent solid-gold crown used at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the enormous Cullinan diamonds and the extraordinary Koh-I-Noor. There will also be time to enjoy a fascinating River Cruise on the Thames river which is included in today’s tour. The rest of the evening will be free to explore in London.
TThis morning we will depart for a day trip that begins with the short drive to Windsor, home to the Royal Family for 900 years and official residence of Queen Elizabeth II. Here you enjoy a walking tour of the town, taking in the outside of the castle, the quaint cobbled streets and historic buildings dating back to the 17th century and the interior of Windsor Castle to see the magnificent State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel. Next stop is Stonehenge, the most famous prehistoric monument in the world, standing alone in the vast emptiness of Salisbury plain. In Oxford follow in the footsteps of famous students such as Lewis Carroll and Bill Clinton on a walking tour around the college courtyards and cobbled lanes of this historic university city. Visit the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe, and Brasenose College. We will then return to London where you can spend the rest of your evening at leisure. Refresh overnight at your London hotel.

*Please do note that for the day tour to Windsor, Oxford and Stonhenge, if mentioned in your package, entrance fee is not included but can be pre-purchased before departing on the tour. Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and planned closures/disruptions may be subject to change.
On Sundays and during special events, St Paul’s Cathedral is closed to visitors. We will stop for photographs at St Paul’s Cathedral and spend longer at the Tower of London or visit Tower Bridge Exhibition. On certain date instead of the Tower Bridge Exhibition it may be a Thames River Cruise ticket that will be provided as a substitute.
*The changing of the guard is scheduled on alternate days and may be cancelled at the last minute due to rain or exceptional circumstances. Please note that the exact itinerary is subject to change depending on traffic conditions and events in London. In August and September, during the Queen’s holidays in Scotland, the 19 State Rooms are open for visits
