ITINERARY

At the Edinburgh Airport, TCI representative will be waiting for you who will then drive you to your hotel. On arrival, C/I and refresh at the hotel. Welcome to Edinburgh. Welcome to Edinburgh, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, draped across a series of rocky hills overlooking the sea. It’s a town intimately entwined with its landscape, with buildings and monuments perched atop crags and overshadowed by cliffs. Later, join a wonderful walking tour and also explore the amazing Edinburgh Castle as the best way to explore Edinburgh is to follow your feet. Where the buses can’t take you, and the guide books don’t show you is where our real stories can be found. As we take you to explore the closes, wynds, courtyards and homes of old Edinburgh, you will experience a vivid picture of Edinburg’s colorful past and people – see the secrets and listen to the tales – the culture, crime and politics of Scotland’s capital. An experience shared by Mercat historians which will promise a fascinating and revealing time inside the Edinburgh Castle. Refresh overnight at your Edinburg hotel.

After breakfast, Board your luxury mini-coach and get ready for a day of adventure. As you head towards the Highlands you’ll see the amazing Forth Railway Bridge. Then try some delicious home baking in the beautiful Highland town of Pitlochry. Through the spectacular Cairngorms, enjoy the stunning scenery as you travel through the spectacular and unique wilderness of the Cairngorms National Park. Lunch at Loch Ness…or take a cruise (optional). Loch Ness is famous all over the world for its beauty and mystery. You’ll have time for a thrilling ‘monster spotting’ optional boat cruise on the waters of the loch with views to Urquhart Castle. Relive the massacre of Glen Coe: Glen Coe is broodingly beautiful and steeped in history. As you stand at the mouth of the glen, you’ll feel the past come to life as our guide tells you about the terrible massacre of the MacDonald Clan. Salute William Wallace and head home. The route takes you driving past the beautiful city of Stirling and its stunning castle and you will be able to learn more about the exploits of William Wallace that were dramatized in the film Braveheart.

This morning C/O from your hotel and then we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you the airport. After arrival in London, TCI representative will pick you up and drive you to your hotel. Here you can C/I at your hotel and refresh. Welcome to London, one of the world’s most visited cities, London has something for everyone: from history and culture to fine food and good times. A tireless innovation of art and culture, London is a city of ideas and imagination.
Then soon after, get ready to take a flight on Coca-Cola London Eye, a visually striking structure and the world’s largest cantilever observation wheel. As you ascend over the Thames you will see London’s famous streets, churches, palaces and monuments spread out below in a panoramic scene giving you a new perspective of a great city! On a clear day the views can stretch as far as 25 miles to Windsor Castle. Experience is brought to life with vibrant 3D images of colorful parties and events inside the Coca-Cola London Eye capsules, dramatic firework displays, a snowfall over the city, revolutionary aerial footage of other iconic landmarks and sophisticated, fun 4D effects. Refresh overnight at your London hotel.

This morning after breakfast, the first early half of the day is at leisure. Then in the afternoon, we will see and visit London’s best as we first take you on a guided tour of St Paul’s Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece with its magnificent dome. The Cathedral was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London in 1666. In recent years it has seen the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, to Lady Diana Spencer and, more recently, the thanksgiving services for both the Diamond Jubilee and 80th Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. Climb 259 steps up the dome and you will find The Whispering Gallery, which runs around the interior of the Dome. It gets its name from a charming quirk in its construction, which makes a whisper against its walls audible on the opposite side. Founded by William the Conqueror in 1066-7 and enlarged by successive sovereigns, the Tower of London is one of the world’s most famous and spectacular fortresses. Over the past 1000 years it has been a Royal Palace, an armory and a place of imprisonment and execution. The Beefeaters who guard the Tower will regale you with stories of its past. We will visit the Crown Jewels, including the magnificent solid-gold crown used at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the enormous Cullinan diamonds and the extraordinary Koh-I-Noor. There will also be time to enjoy a fascinating River Cruise on the Thames river which is included in today’s tour. The rest of the evening will be free to explore in London.

This morning after a sumptuous breakfast, we will make a panoramic introduction to London by coach, with a drive around West London, its palaces, parks, entertainment and commercial districts, the theatre and restaurant district, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, museums and galleries. Photo stops at the houses of parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Royal Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial, Districts of Westminster, Kensington, Mayfair and Belgravia. Then we will move on to the spectacular Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the guards ceremony*. We will continue visiting Buckingham Palace. Once inside, you can enjoy the Palace with an audio guide, where everyone can take the desired time to visit inside. Buckingham Palace is the working headquarters of the Monarchy, where The Queen carries out her official and ceremonial duties as Head of State of the United Kingdom and Head of the Commonwealth. The Queen receives a large number of formal and informal visitors to the Palace. Over 50,000 people visit the Palace each year as guests at occasions of all sizes, from small lunches to large-scale receptions. The principal State Rooms used for court ceremonies and official entertaining occupy the main west block facing the gardens.

Today, as we know that all great journeys have to come to an end so we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the airport.
