Explore Geneva old town on our mini-train, you will be taking a step back in time with Saint Peter’s cathedral: known as the church where John Calvin gave his inspiring sermons during the mid-16th century. The imposing Romanesque-Gothic church with a neoclassical facade still dominates the center of the international Swiss town. On this stroll, you will also explore Place Bourg-de-four, original market place, the arsenal and the town hall; lose yourself in the grandeur and beauty of this culturally influential town. The rest of the evening will be at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Geneva hotel.

Today after breakfast, we will drive you to the railway station in your private vehicle and then you will board the super fast nonstop train to Montreux. Upon arrival in Montreux, Please make your way to your hotel which will be at a short walk from the station. After arrival and C/I, proceed on your own to explore the Chateau de Chillon which is on the outskirts of the city, spend some time visiting the magnificent structure. This medieval fortress is situated directly on the shores of Lake Geneva and is one of Switzerland’s most recognizable attractions. Back in Montreux, take time to sample a traditional Swiss hot chocolate and indulge in local culture. TCI’s destination experts will help plan an evening for you here. Today, board your train from Montreaux and upon arrival in Zermatt, C/I and then make your own way to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise which is the highest sightseeing point in Europe which is accessible by cableway. The Matterhorn Express gondola brings you to Furi where you change to the large cableway which takes you via Trockener Steg to the Klein Matterhorn. Finally, up there you take a lift to get to the highest sightseeing platform offering a panoramic view of the Alps including the 38 4,000-meter peaks (13,120+ ft) surrounding Zermatt. At the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise it also is possible to visit the Glacier Palace which is 15 meters under the glacier’s surface. Return to your hotel and rest overnight in Zermatt.

This morning, we recommend to spend the first half of the day by touring the village on your own, we recommend the following route and will assist with planning your morning in Zermat. Walk via Bahnhofstrasse which is the main street to the Kirchplatz, the church, on to the Bergsteigerfriedhof which is the mountaineer’s cemetery and then on to the Kirchbrücke, the church bridge from where you can take the best shots of the Matterhorn. On your way, you will see several traditional wooden chalets as some people still live there and the typical grain stores. Return to your hotel, C/O and then proceed to the railway station to board your evening train to Chur. Arrive in Chur and C/I at your hotel Refresh overnight.

Today after a sumptuous breakfast, C/O and get ready to have a memorable day aboard the Bernina Express. On the highest railway across the Alps, the Bernina Express climbs up to the glistening glaciers before descending to the palms of Italy far below. This rail link between Northern and Southern Europe builds bridges between regions with different languages and cultures.
The railway is unique, blending ideally with the alpine landscapes around the Albula and Bernina Passes. The train negotiates the 55 tunnels, 196 bridges and inclines of up to 70 per mille with ease. At the highest point on the RhB, 2,253 metres above sea level, you will find the Ospizio Bernina. Here, visitors can delight in the cultural and natural surroundings and enjoy the Alps at their most impressive. The railway line from Thusis – Valposchiavo – Tirano has UNESCO World Heritage status. Thanks to the modern panoramic cars, you will enjoy unrestricted views of the unspoilt Alpine panorama. Board your train from Tirano to Milan and once you arrive in Milan, our representative will pick you up in your private car and will drive you to your hotel where you can C/I and rest overnight

After a lovely breakfast, we proceed to the most fascinating areas of Milan which is Italy’s commercial powerhouse and one of the world’s fashion and design capitals We’ll visit the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele, probably the world’s most elegant shopping mall, the impressive Sforza Castle with its crenellated battlements housing several museums, the Duomo, one of the largest religious buildings in the world and a jewel of the Northern Italian Gothic style. with over a hundred spires and 3,200 statues. We’ll also have a look around the La Scala theatre and museum, with its fascinating collection of musical instruments, costumes and portraits. However the highlight of this tour has to be an exclusive fast-track visit to Leonardo’s Last Supper in the Church of Santa Maria della Grazie. This famous and mysterious 15th Century fresco, lovingly restored after centuries of deterioration has enjoyed even greater popularity ever since its appearance in Dan Brown’s bestseller the Da Vinci Code.

Today after breakfast, we will depart Milan, head east through Lombardy and enter the Veneto region. Our first stop is at the romantic city of Verona, home to Romeo and Juliet. Here, a local guide will bring to life the many treasures that the city has to offer such as the world-famous Roman arena and the beautiful Piazza delle Erbe. We will then head north from Verona and arrive by Lake Garda, the largest of the Italian lakes in a glorious position surrounded by mountains. The countryside surrounding Garda has been brought to life over the centuries by poets and writers including Catullus, Joyce and Goethe. A chance to explore this enchanting town will be there before returning to Milan where you can spend the late evening on your own.

All great journeys have to come to an end but not before you grab a wonderful breakfast at your hotel and then later we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the airport.
