At the Bagdogra Airport or station, TTCI executive will be there to welcome & receive you.  From the airport, we will drive you on a scenic road directly to Darjeeling, spread in ribbons over a steep mountain ridge, surrounded by emerald-green tea plantations and towered over by the majestic Kangchenjunga at almost 9000 meters, Darjeeling is the definitive Indian hill station. Explore colonial-era architecture, visit Buddhist monasteries, and spot snow leopards and red pandas at the nearby zoo. On the steep and bustling streets winding through town, lose yourself amid an array of Himalayan faces. After arrival and C/I at the resort after which we will depart for the Himalayan Zoological Park where you can enjoy time with nature at Darjeeling. Time permitting, you may also visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Center, Lal Kothi & Dhirdham Temple. Refresh overnight at your hotel Darjeeling.

Today, early morning we will drive you to Tiger Hills to view sunrise over Kangchenzunga Peak. On the way back we will visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later, after breakfast, we will enjoy a one way toy train ride in Darjeeling, which is the one of the most famous attractions here. Riding the Toy Train of Darjeeling Himalayan Railways (DHR) has always remained a coveted experience to the tourists. The Toy Train has been accorded the UNESCO World Heritage status, and that’s for something special. Operating on narrow gauge tracks since 1880s and providing an important transport link to various parts of Darjeeling hills and lower plains, the Toy Train is still unmatched when it comes to absorbing magnificent beauty of the mountains. Later as we know that Any visit to Darjeeling would be incomplete without going to a tea estate, so visit the Happy Valley Tea Estate. The estate offer visitors a glimpse of the fascinating process of manufacturing tea at a place that was established way back in 1854. It is also the highest tea estate in the world at more than 2000 meters and spread in around 100 hectares. Later in the day, we will visit the Japanese Temple and the Peace pagoda that showcases four avatars of Lord Buddha. After an astonishing day of great sightseeing, we will then return to the resort to have a relaxed evening at leisure and a comfortable overnight stay.

Today post breakfast, we will depart from Darjeeling and head for Gangtok with another scenic drive drive. On arrival, C/I and refresh at your Gantok hotel. Gangtok is a cosmopolitan yet pretty little town with a spectacular view of the Mt. Khanchanjanga. The town provides the perfect base for travel through Sikkim. Check in and refresh at the resort and enjoy your evening at this beautiful destination indulging in the local culture. There are multiple options that TCI’s destination experts can assist you with in planning your evening. Regardless of whatever you choose to do in Gangtok this evening, you are bound to have a wonderful evening.

Today after a lovely breakfast, we will proceed to see some special places in and around Gangtok. We will visit the Do-Drul-Chorten, arguably the most popular stupa in Sikkim, built in 1945 by a Tibetan Buddhist. We will then visit the Institute of Tibetology before moving on to the Gangtok Ropeway which is a km long cable car ride with sweeping views of Gangtok township, Kanchenjunga’s snow peaks and the valley below. Enjoy your visit to the Rumtek Monastery*, which has a golden stupa located inside. Explore the Banjhakri Falls, Handicrafts Centre and Tashi View Point before we drive you back to your resort in the evening. Spend the evening at leisure and stay overnight at the resort.

Post breakfast, we will C/O and drive south towards Kalimpong in West Bengal. This bustling bazaar town sprawls along a saddle-shaped mountain ridge overlooking the roaring Teesta River and lorded over by the summit of Khangchenzunga. It’s a must-see as it does boast of splendid Himalayan views, Buddhist monasteries, colonial-era architecture and a fascinating nursery industry, all linked by some fine hikes. After arrival at your nature resort, relax, refresh and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure with your loved ones and indulge in the resort’s activities to make the most out of your day.

We will enjoy the day in Kalimpong today with a pleasurable day of sightseeing in and around the town. Start off with a visit to the Delo Hill which is an extended nature park with very well maintained gardens, fountains and views of Mt. Kengchenzunga. Next have some sporty time on the alluring terrains and lush green meadows of the Army Golf Course. Witness some history as we take you to Dr. Graham’s Homes formerly called the St. Andrew’s Colonial Homes which was founded in 1900 by reverend Dr. John Anderson Graham a missionary of the Church of Scotland, who had settled in Kalimpong. We will also visit Durgamandir & Durpin dara hill and not to be missed Kalimpong Monastery and Flower Nursery before making our way back to the resort.

All good things have to come to an end but not before you grab a sumptuous breakfast at the resort before checking out as our representative will be waiting at the for you with your private car to assist you well in time to drive you to the airport or station in Bagdogra.
