ITINERARY


TCI representative will be waiting for you at the Airport/Railway station to pick you up at the requested time and drive straight to the town of Omkareshwar and witness the beauty of the Avatar group of temple ruins. These unique temples are a group of Hindu and Jain temples, with distinct architecture such that each of them is beautifully designed. During  the attack of Mahmud Ghazni, in 11th century AD, who demolished Hindu and Jain temples across the country, these are the ones still standing in Omkareshwar. Later, we move to the main temple of Omkareshwar.
Attend the evening Aarti, spiritualize yourself with the narmada in the background and proceed Indore in the evening and C/I and refresh overnight at the hotel.

Today post breakfast, start your day early morning as we will proceed for Ujjain. Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingams, which are supposed to be the most sacred abodes of Lord Shiva. We will also visit the Harsidhi temple, believed to be bringing one’s wishes true, Bade Ganesh Ji ka mandir having a huge statue of Ganesh Ji, the beautiful ISKCON temple of Sri Krishna where you can refresh amongst the clean upkeep and have some snacks or lunch and visit other famous landmarks of the Ujjain city. In the evening, we will be back at the Indore hotel where you may visit the Sarafa Bazzar for some late night snacks and have fun with some of the greatest street food the place has to offer. Since this bazaar opens late at night, a visit is optional and can be organized on client’s request.

Today, after a sumptuous breakfast, C/O from the hotel and proceed for a wonderful sightseeing tour to Patalpani waterfalls. We pick you up from the hotel and drive about 45 ks to reach the waterfalls. The waterfall is approximately 300 feet high. The area around Patalpani is a popular picnic and trekking spot. According to folklore, the pit or the Kund at the bottom of the falls goes as deep as Paataal as in Indian mythology. We return back to Indore city and visit the Rajwada area where we recommend you can have lunch and enjoy shopping on your own. We then drop you back to the airport/Railway station for your further travel.

TERMS

  • This package does not include charges for boat ride on Narmada river.
  • Patalpani waterfalls has witnessed some accidents over the years and we recommend to stay safe and maintain a watchful distance from the falls to enjoy the natural beauty of this place. Going into the waterfalls is strictly not recommended.
  • Any visits to the places market in inclusions is totally subject to the local policies and rules of temples and their associations and any darshans etc or priorities in queues for Aarti etc have to be organized by the clients on their own, however TCI will assist the clients in providing all relevant information that should be useful.
