ITINERARY


Upon arrival at the Bangalore airport, TCI representative will pick you up and drive you in your private car to Mysore where you can C/I at relax at your hotel. We recommend taking a stroll in the evening and indulge in some local culture and enjoy some local cuisine. Whatever you choose to do on your first evening in Mysore, you are bound to have a great day. Rest overnight at your hotel in Mysore.

This early morning, we will first visit the ancient town of Srirangpatnam which was the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. This town is dotted with temples, palaces, tombs, military warehouses and fort walls. We will then explore Mysore known for its glittering royal heritage and magnificent monuments and buildings. We will first visit the Mysore palace and then the Brindavan Gardens that attract a large number of visitors. There is a boating pond in the garden where the visitors can enjoy a boat-ride. Early evening, we will depart for Bangalore where we can C/I at the hotel and refresh overnight peacefully.

Today post breakfast or early morning, we will depart for Vellore and C/I at your hotel. Soon after, start your time in Vellore by visiting the Rathinagiri Murugan temple, the Sripuram Golden temple and then to Jalakandeshwarar temple. Renowned Sripuram’s Golden temple is located at near the small green mountains while Ratnagiri Balamurugan temple is an ancient Lord Murugan temple at 14 kms from Vellore atop a hill offering excellent views of the area around. We will also explore the Vellore Fort which is an expansive fort built by the rulers of the erstwhile Vijayanagara Empire which acted as the headquarters of the Aravidu dynasty of the Empire. After an eventful day, refresh overnight at your hotel in Vellore.

This early morning, we will depart for Kanchipuram and visit the Magical Shiva kanchi which is also known as Ekambareshwarrar temple and is one of the most glorious temples of this part of world. Next will be the The Kamakshi Amman which too is an ancient one and is associated with Aadi Sankaracharya of the 1st millennium CE. In the afternoon we will proceed to Mahabalipuram where we can C/I at your hotel and visit the five Rathas. The five structures each chiselled in the shape of rathas or chariots out of large block of stone or monolith of granite typifies monolithic Indian rock-cut architecture that dates back to the 7th century during the reign of the Pallava dynasty. We shall also visit the Seashore temple and the Arjun’a Penance before resting overnight at your hotel in Mahabalipuram.

Early today after breakfast, we will depart Bangalore for Tirupati. On arrival at Tirupati, check in to the hotel and refresh and soon after visit Kapila Theertham and Kapileshwara Temple. The idol is believed to be installed by Kapila Muni and hence Lord Siva here is referred to as Kapileswara. Also visit the Kalyana Venkateshwara Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram and the ISKCON Temple. ISKCON Temple in Tirupati is especially popular for its architecture and it’s location makes it is even more attractive to the devotees. Idols of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha at the temple are mesmerizing and are adorned richly. Its architectural beauty is equally enticing. There are also many paintings and sculptures in the temples, each depicting various episodes from the life of Lord Krishna. Rest overnight at your hotel in Tirupati.

Early morning, we will visit the Tirumala Hills, the adobe of Lord Venkateshwara Balaji. Tirupati temple is situated in the lap of the Tirumala hill town and the temple is the home of Lord Balaji who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. One of the most revered and richest temples in the country, devotees descend upon it every day. After Darshan of Lord Balaji, we shall visit Papavinasanam, and Akasha Ganga. At Akasha Ganga, Holy water comes out as natural steam here between hills rocks. This sacred water is used for Sri Vaari Daily Abhishekam. Papavinasanam is a waterfall flowing from a tributary of the Swarnamukhi River which is believe to take off one’s sins. After the auspicious visits, C/O from your hotel in Tirupati and we will drive you back to Bangalore.
