  • Gulmarg sightseeing includes visit to the World’s highest Golf course, St. Mary’s church and an optional Gandola or pony ride*.
  • Optional day Shikara ride arrangements with with pre booking with the most reliable houseboat operators in Srinagar with choices of times with return hotel transfers.

ITINERARY


Once you arrive at the Srinagar Airport, TCI representative will pick you up and drive you to directly to your hotel. C/I and refresh and then soon after, we will depart for a beautiful day outing in Srinagar. We will visit the Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, which renders beautiful panoramic views of entire city and the handloom centre famous for the production of Pashmina and Shahtoosh shawls & world famous carpets. We will also visit the famous Mughal Gardens, which is one of the top tourist attractions of Srinagar. These beautifully-created gardens comprise three famous gardens, namely Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden and Chasme Shahi Garden. With fountains, colorful flowerbeds and lush greenery, these gardens located along side the beautiful Dal Lake.
Later in the evening, go on a Shikara ride (Charges applicable on direct basis) on Dal Lake to Nehru Park. Shikaras are beautifully decorated boats that are quite popular in Kashmir. During the ride, experience peace and tranquillity, along with the scintillating views of the soaring mountains in the backdrop. After a fun-filled sightseeing trip of Srinagar, return to the hotel and get a good night’s sleep.

Today, Recharge yourself with a healthy breakfast at the hotel, C/O and embark on a pleasant journey to Pahalgam – popularly known as the ‘Valley of Shepherds’. On the way, you can visit the Pampore Saffron fields, where saffron is cultivated. It is one of the largest saffron cultivated areas in the world. In addition, you can also explore the Avantipur Ruins, which is ruins of two ancient temples that are devoted Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. In Pahalgam, enjoy picturesque views of famous Betaab, Chandan and Aru Valley. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure and explore the nearby market. Later, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay in Pahalgam. Please note that at the Aru, Chandanwari and Betab Valley outside vehicles as per union are not allowed, for covering this you will have to hire cabs from local taxi union on direct payment basis. After a full day tour and sightseeing of Pahalgam, refresh overnight at Pahalgam resort.

After relishing a delightful breakfast, C/O and head for a sightseeing tour of the ‘Meadows of Flower’, Gulmarg. Surrounded by lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow-capped mountains, this place is heaven in the true sense. Moreover, Gulmarg is a famous ski resort and has the world’s highest 18-hole golf course, called Gulmarg Golf Club. At a short distance from this golf course lies a 110-year old St. Mary’s Church, which you can visit. This church was built during the British rule.
In addition to these, you can go on a pony ride* or Gondola* (ropeway) (both Pony Ride or Gondola ride are on own expense) ride to Khilanmarg and enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. After a day-long excursion of this beautiful hill town, refresh overnight at the Gulmarg resort.

All good things have to come to an end but not before you grab a good breakfast as our representative will be waiting at the lobby for you to assist you well in time to proceed to the airport.

TERMS

  • Pre booking for Elementary flash course in skiing and shikara rides are subject to availability of seats and as per seasonal allowance. Clients will be advised charges and seats will be reserved on behalf of the clients. Clients will have the comfort of paying along with the package price at regular charges only for the lessons.
  • Please note that the weather in Kashmir during winter months can go down to freezing temperatures and hence clients are advised to keep this in mind and if they wish to go , they must prepare with sufficient warm clothing and be physically fit to engage in high altitude locations. Clients are recommended not to drive themselves when roads are slippery or snow clad.

  • *The package does not include charges of gondola or boat or pony rides etc in any location
  • This package does not include any entrance tickets to the Tulip Garden for seasonal visit. Tulip festival is summer seasonal every year and has specific dates. You may or may not be able to enter the garden on dates other than the annual dates of the festival if it does not fall during your package dates
  • Entrance fee to ‘Betaab Valley or Aru Valley’ or any other valleys as part of the inclusions in the itinerary if visited and chargeable are not included and clients have to pay directly on the spot on their own.
  • Please note that for the Pahalgam tour, at the Aru, Chandanwari and Betab Valley outside vehicles as per union are not allowed, for covering this you will have to hire cabs from local taxi union on direct payment basis.
  • At the Gulmarg Golf Course if you wish to visit, Please know that the Golf kit and caddy charges optional & extra and directly payable on the spot are not a part of the package.
  • Please note that in case there is heavy snow, a chained vehicle will have to be hired from Tanmarg to Gulmarg on direct payment basis for the Gulmarg Excursion. Also the Gondola ride is not included in the package and it completely depends on weather conditions. It may be closed at times due to bad weather or maintenance issues.
