ITINERARY


Early this morning, we will drive to Manali. If you opt (Time Permitting with an early morning start and at an additional charge), we can also visit the amazing Manikaran Sahab that attracts a large number of tourists not only because of its reputation as a holy land, but also because of its scenic beauty as well as its famous hot springs. Soon after, we will proceed for Manali, surrounded by high peaks in the beautiful green Beas valley, with mountain adventures beckoning from all directions, Manali is a year-round magnet. Arrive in Manali and spend the rest of the evening on your own or simply rest and refresh at your resort. TCI’s destination experts will assist you plan an efficient evening or an optional excursion if you would like to indulge on a short notice if possible. Refresh overnight at your resort in Manali.

This morning after breakfast, relish the best of Manali as we will take you to the Vashishta Kund, the holy Hidimba Temple and also to the Manu Temple. You may also find some space and go around the town and visit places offering local shopping and souvenirs. Time permitting, we can drive you to the Van Vihar national park and to the Jogini waterfall, which requires a bit of a trekking and will be depending upon your choice. We will then return to the resort and you will be at leisure to enjoy the spectacular views from your place.

After relishing a delightful breakfast, we drive up the altitude so you can soak yourself into the snow capped mountains as we take you to the Rohtang Pass (on own expense with local association vehicle), a place for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The snow-covered mountains provide the perfect opportunity to go skiing and snow scooter riding. Take your family to this wonderful place and enjoy some quality time together. Solang Valley is a beautiful place offering breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, peaks and glaciers. From skiing to zorbing, parachuting and paragliding, the adventure activities available here are many and you can indulge in any at your own expense before we drive you back to your resort.

Today after breakfast, we will first visit the Naggar Castle which is a magnificent historical edifice. Made of stone and wood, this palace served as the residence of Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. It was built in AD 1460 in an impressive amalgamation of European and Himalayan architecture. Fireplaces, fitting staircases, and magnificent stone and wood works grace the castle’s interiors. Next we will drive to Kullu, if time permits, You may want to visit the Akhara Bazaar, popular as one of the main bazaars and shopping areas of Kullu, Akhara Bazaar has a number of shops, selling Kullu caps and woolen apparels such as shawls, pattoos, gudmas, puhlas and namdas or rugs. We will then proceed for Chandigarh.

TERMS

  • Please note that Rohtang pass remains closed on Tuesdays and a visit to the Rohtang pass is completely dependent on weather conditions.
  • This package includes an entry permit to Rohtang pass but does not include any other government related fees or any additional charges  that may be added by the government or local authorities after confirmation of this package and they will have to be borne directly by the clients on the spot.

  • *For the mall road visit and excursion such as the Gondola ride, guests will be dropped off to the nearest vehicle access point as most of the mall road is in accessible for vehicles.
